Not a good night for me

I am not having the best night.

My aunt called us and said that my uncle was in the hospital dying tonight, and that if we wanted to see him we should go. Well my dad didn't want me to go with him for some dumb reason. Anyway I've met him once in my entire life, and he was always nice to me so I hold no regrets. i'll remember him as he was rather than how he is now.

My other Uncle the one I am very close to is in a nursing home now because he has Parkinsons disease. He can't walk and he gets so frustrated he starts hitting people. SO I wont be able to go see him but He'll always be in my heart

Hmm that puts things in perspective will you still visit your Uncle, maybe your Dad is hiding the pain and fear he feels from knowing his Brother is dying.

he might want to go but be frightened of what he's going to encounter.
Best of Luck

I wont get to see him now. He died this morning.

I will go to his funeral though. I'll have to take off, if It's on a day that I work, other than that....I wont get to see him.

IN a way i'm glad because my dad said he didn't know anyone was there as they had him drugged up pretty heavily.

Well today was the funeral. IT was a beautiful ceremony

IF I misspell anything please forgive me as I am crying as I'm typing.

When we went up to my aunts house, my uncle joe was there who has parkensons disease. He is all skin and bones and he looks bad.

He recognized me and held my hand and then hugged and kissed me goodbye, but he couldn't talk to me. It's horrible watching someone who is so close to you deterioriate.

Hi Catwoman,
I'm so sorry about your uncles. I sympathize with you. My moms sister has Parkinsons, and she gets confused easily. She still knows people though.
One woman my mom use to work with says people who have parkinsons are still alert, it's just the body that deteriorates, but I'm not sure if that's right or not. With some people, it doesn't seem to affect the mind at all, but with others, it affects the mind a lot.
My condolences.
